CV Guidance
Make your CV sell you — Make your CV Stand Out
There are three basic rules for any CV. Keep it simple. Keep it short. Make it relevant.
Let's face it; corporate recruiters are busy people and don't have time to plough through pages of your life history. They want to know who you are and why they should employ you.
Next comes your CV format; wherever possible use a standard Word file format with just plain text. Most companies store CVs on a database so while your images, grids and animations may look good, you may be rejected simply because the database can't read your file.
To help us present your CV to employers in the best possible way, please email your CV to us (or submit it via this website) in a standard Word document, covering the areas outlined below in this classic CV layout. This example covers all the key areas in the order in which the majority of companies like to see your details.

James was very attentive and gave me all the information I needed in good time as well as following up with emails and phone calls after the contract had started, he then found me a great permanent position.
