The best people are vital for any recruitment business. And at abrs, you'll be working with high calibre professionals who understand both the market place and the pressures faced by recruiters.

This starts at the top with our Directors Andrew Bailey, Mark Long and Leanne Watkins. The Directors are all actively involved in client and candidate care and development.

Andrew Bailey — Managing Director

  • Andrew established abrs in August 1999 to provide a more comprehensive, innovative recruitment solution specialising in Marketing and IT disciplines.
  • He has over 14 years experience in Telco, IP and Technology, Marketing and Sales recruitment. This was gained with Michael Page where he established and led the Telco and Technology division that he grew to a team of 14 Consultants managing a P&L of £3 million.
  • Prior to his involvement in recruitment, Andrew worked for Dell and IBM in Key Account Development and Management.

Mark Long — Director

  • Mark joined abrs in 2000 as our Director of Technology, he developed an impressive client portfolio of blue chip companies who work at the cutting edge of technology.
  • Through impressive business growth and Marks invaluable input to this success; in 2006 Mark was promoted to manage the Marketing, IT and Digital Teams.
  • With 11 years in technology recruitment — Mark mirrored Andrew's experience by launching an Ecommerce & Tech Development division (in his case) for Laser Recruitment. Mark recruited and managed a team of 12 Consultants and developed strategic accounts.

Leanne Watkins — Director

  • Leanne joined abrs in 2008 to establish the Operations Division recruiting Office Support and Customer Services professionals.
  • With a focus on the Thames Valley & London, Leanne has a growing team focussed on all areas of Office Support and Customer Service recruitment.
  • With 11 years Operations recruitment experience with one specialist recruitment company prior to joining, Leanne has a very exciting future ahead developing this new division for abrs.
